Every year some of our customers must cancel their vacations at the last moment due to illness, accident, or family emergency. We are sad to see people lose the money they have saved for vacation so we strongly encourage you to protect your investment with one of the options below. Otherwise, if you cancel your tour less than 30 days before departure no refunds will be given. You will receive a 50% credit towards any future tour (within 12 months), excluding the cost of airline tickets, cruise reservation, event ticket, or other such non-refundable purchase. Search Beyond Adventures Cancellation Credit Plan
We offer an in-house “cancellation credit protection” for only $39. (This option is not available for international, Hawaii, or cruise vacations.) You may cancel your tour up to 4 pm Eastern time the day before departure by faxing or e-mailing to us your intent to cancel. You will not receive cash back but 100 percent of the tour cost paid (less air tickets, if any, etc described below) will be applied to another tour of your choosing (must depart within 12 months of original tour). This does not cover “no shows” or people denied flights due to lack of proper documentation. No medical coverage is provided. This does allow you to cancel for “change of mind”. If your tour included an airline ticket, the cost of the airline ticket is not covered and often has penalties imposed by the airline for any change. You will own the airline ticket and can use it for any future travel. Also, if you are on a tour that has pre-purchased, non-refundable event tickets (eg sports games) the cost of these tickets will also be subtracted from your credit if we do not re-sell the space to another customer. You can buy this coverage up to 30 days prior to tour departure OR at time of registration if you are registering less than 30 days before tour departure date.

We now offer an in-house cancellation plan which returns full payment to you if cancelled for COVERED reasons (documented illness, accident, family emergency, etc—see reverse side for details). The price varies by tour price and number of days. Cost is $15/day for tours up to $2000 (total tour cost), $21/day for tours $2001-$3000 (total tour cost), and $27/day for tours over $3001 (total tour cost). This coverage is not available for cruise tours and overseas destinations but is available for Hawaii and Alaska. This coverage does cover include cost of any airline or train ticket up to $600. This is cancellation only coverage and does not include medical or medical related expenses. You can buy this coverage up to 30 days prior to tour departure OR at time of registration if you are registering less than 30 days before tour departure date.
Travel Guard Insurance
This travel insurance is available for any destination and includes emergency medical care, medical evacuation, lost luggage, travel delay expenses, and cancellation protection. If you cancel your tour you receive a cash refund from the insurance company, providing you cancel for covered reasons. Example of “acceptable reasons” include illness, accident, family emergency, flight cancellation, etc. This does not cover cancellation because of change of job, change of mind, and similar. We recommend this especially for international tours since most public insurance does not cover you when you are traveling outside your home country. The premium cost varies by tour price, state of residency, and length of tour.
