| Day 1 | Depart New England and NYC areas by van in the morning, or (from other regions) fly into Baltimore or Washington DC area airport in late afternoon. Check into your hotel in Washington DC area. |

| Day 2 | Tour the Smithsonian buildings, Library of Congress, and the Capitol . |

| Day 3 | Tour many of the Mall memorials (e.g. Jefferson Memorial, Roosevelt Memorial, Vietnam War Memorial, Korean War Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Washington Memorial, and the new World War II Memorial ). Cross into Virginia to tour Arlington Cemetery . |

| Day 4 | Visit Ford's Theater where Lincoln was shot. Visit the American Museum of History or the Natural History Museum or the National Art Gallery. |

| Day 5 | Today see how money is made at the Bureau of Engraving and then tour the exhibits of the Holocaust Museum. If time remains relax in the National Botanical Gardens. |

| Day 6 | Depart in the morning for your ride back to NYC and New England, or (if traveling by air) your morning flights out of Baltimore (or Washington Regan) airport. |
