Your Tour Summary
Depart your home city for your flight to Quito, Ecuador.  Overnight in Quito before flying next day to Santa Cruz island, part of the Galapagos Island chain.  On Santa Cruz you will visit the Charles Darwin Research Center and see close up the giant tortoises and iguanas. Next head out to by tour boat to see the diversity of unusual bird life (eg the Blue Footed Booby) and iguanas here. If you like swimming you can choose snorkeling, also! You will also see plenty of sea lions.

Finally, fly back to Quitos. Stand on the equator (The Ciudad Mitad del Mundo or "Center of the World") and watch the drain water change from clockwise to counter-clockwise as you move a foot off either side of the equator! Finish your shopping before you fly overnight back home.
