| Your Daily Itinerary |

| Day 1 | Depart for your overnight flight to Venice. Our staff will meet all participants at an eastern North American gateway city and arrive in Venice with participants. |

| Day 2 | Upon arrival you will be transported to your hotel to rest and freshen up before beginning to explore the area and discovering the warmth of the Italian people. |
|
| Day 3 | Venice is a romantic city famous for it's canals, so you'll want to take a gondola boat ride, of course. Then continue your tour of Venice, strolling through the many piazzas and squares and visiting some of the historical churches. |

| Day 4 | Take a boat ride to nearby Murano island (or another island). On Murano island watch the famous Murano glassworkers show their craft. Visit the splendid Veneto-Byzantine Basilica di Maria e Donato. |

| Day 5 | Depart Venice by train mid-day for Rome. Check into your hotel and relax in this great city. |

| Day 6 | Tour the Roman Forum and Colosseum, one of the greatest wonders of Roman civilization. Meander through a number of temples devoted to famous Romans including Julius Caesar, Augustus and Venus. |

| Day 7 | Visit Vatican City. Stroll through St. Peter's Basilica and view Michelangelo's statue of Jesus, "The Pieta". See where the past popes are entombed in the lower levels of St. Peter's. Appreciate the beauty of the Sistine Chapel. |
|
| Day 8 | Following breakfast, you will be transported to the airport for the flight to North America, arriving home the same day. |
