| Day 1 | Depart from Minneapolis this morning, or points en route, as we begin our journey 'out West' to visit famous Yellowstone National Park. If you are arriving by air, you will fly into Minneapolis, or possibly Bismarck (if you are from the west coast). After supper, we will stop for the night near Bismarck, ND. |

| Day 2 | Today travel west through eastern Montana to Billings, MT, then onto your hotel near Yellowstone. As we approach Yellowstone, we climb to elevations nearing 10,000 feet. |

| Day 3 | Start exploring Yellowstone finally! We will gaze at geysers (Old Faithful won't fail us!), marvel at paint pots, hot springs, and oozing fumerals, then see cascading waterfalls. Watch for the 'big two'--grizzly bears and wolves. We're also sure to experience a traffic jam or two--buffalo and elk have the right of way on these roads! |

| Day 4 | Today we'll continue our wildlife viewing, with drives and short hikes. If available, take a ranger-guided walk to learn about the history of this amazing place. |

| Day 5 | We head south through the Grand Teton mountains where we will travel through some of the most majestic and rugged landscapes found in the lower 48. Shop in Jackson Hole, ride the gondola up the mountains for a fantastic view. |

| Day 6 | Enjoy your last day touring Yellowstone. Maybe take a swim in a lake or picnic along a wild river. Everyday is wildlife day so be prepared for more sightings today. |

| Day 7 | We begin our journey eastward home, traveling through Montana's buttes and table lands. This evening you stay overnight near Bismarck, ND. |
|
| Day 8 | Passengers heading west may fly out of Bismarck airport this morning. Otherwise, the group departs for Minneapolis, or points en route, arriving home with lots of pleasant memories, great photos and new friends. |
