Your Grand Hawaii vacation delivers you to two magnificant (and different) islands. Start your vacation in exciting Oahu. Visit famous Waikiki beach, Diamond Head, Dole Pineapple Plantation. Tour the USS Arizona memorial at Pearl Harbor. Snorkel and swim at Hanauma Bay or Makaha Beach Park. Enjoy a day of shows at the Polynesian Cultural Center.
Next, fly to Hilo ("Big Island") for a relaxing retreat. Visit the active volcanoes, dense jungles of Volcanoes National Park. Swim at black sand beaches.

Your Daily Itinerary
Day 1 Fly from your home city to Honolulu on the exciting island of Oahu. Check into the hotel then relax after the long flight and multiple time zone changes.
Day 2 Park restrictions permitting stop to view breath-taking Hanauma Bay State Underwater Park. Take a swim at famous Waikiki beach.
Day 3 Cross the island for an all afternoon and evening visit to the Polynesian Cultural Center. Learn about Pacific culture, including fire walkers, craft demonstrations, a canoe pageant and of course, hula dancing- you may be asked to try your best!
Day 4 Tour the historic USS Arizona museum and war memorial at Pearl Harbor. Next explore the maze of pineapple fields at the Dole Plantation. In the gift shop practically everything is made from pineapple!
Day 5 Go to Diamond Head this morning for commanding views of paradise. If you are strong you can hike to the top, or relax at the base if you prefer. Then enjoy your last opportunity to comb the beaches and shop for your last souvenirs of Oahu. Board your afternoon flight for the short flight to Hilo on Hawaii Island (the "Big Island").
Day 6 Visit the active volcanic fields of Volcanoes Nat’l Park. You might see lava streams! Walk across a cold lava field and through a lava tube. View a dramatic documentary film on Volcanoes. Take an evening stroll to Coconut Island
Day 7 This morning visit one of the black sand beaches. Enjoy a picnic by the ocean and the opportunity to see large Hawaiian green sea turtles on the beach! Stop at the Punalu’u Bakery where delicious Hawaiian sweet bread is made. Also visit Akatsuka Orchid Gardens (Hilo is the largest grower of Orchids in the world).
Day 8 Finish your souvenir shopping, then depart this afternoon for your overnight flight back to the mainland USA.
Day 9 Arrive at your home city full of life-long memories.
